I don't mind them but we have four dogs and the squirrels drive the dogs crazy then in turn drive me crazy. AL Squirrel repellants such as Ropel only prevent squirrels from chewing on a surface. There are no all-purpose repellents. It's hard to keep squirrels from running around outside. A program of trapping and relocation would work, but that might be temporary, as it appears that your neighborhood has the habitat to support many squirrels.
